11 Months

Well I am about a week late with this post, but here goes. Lola is 11 months and so much fun. She is doing so many new things, it’s hard to keep up. She has a mouth full of teeth, working on number 10 (she has been a little fussy lately). She LOVES to eat and pretty much eats anything we give her. If we are eating in her presence, she will pitch a total fit because she wants what we are eating. She is beginning to hate wearing hair bows. She takes them off when I am not looking and throws them. We lost 2 of my favorite bows this week. She can stand alone, but has not taken any steps yet, I think she is totally content with crawling. She loves to be outside doing anything! She is still a wonderful sleeper, most nights she sleeps 12 hours and still takes 2 naps per day. She has made the switch to milk and is only getting one bottle a day (I am not ready to give up the bedtime bottle, that could interfere with everyone’s sleep)!

This is after she threw her bow out of the stroller. I hate her hair in her face, now I guess I understand why it drove my parents crazy!

Farmer Lola

This morning we ventured out to the farm with Lola for the first time. We had so much fun and enjoyed watching her ‘take it all in’. She was such a big help unloading the truck and getting the tractor ready. I was able to snap a few photos of all the action. We are looking forward to many more trips to the farm in the future!

After the farm, Lola was ready for a quick dip in the pool. She splashed and kicked like she knew how to swim. She was pretty adventurous in the water, I think we are going to have our hands full.

Lola & her daddy relaxing after a busy day. I love this picture, I looked over and they were doing the same thing with their hands, this was not staged!

All by myself!

Lola is into doing everything by herself these days. Here she is holding her own popsicle. At first I think she was shocked I actually handed it over to her. It was a mess, but she sure enjoyed it.

I think she was a little upset when we took it away.

We played with a few of our boyfriends last week, I think daddy is already a little worried!

Love this photo. Look at the difference in her legs & Colton’s legs.

Lola & Jack were having a race (I think he was letting her win)!

Weekend in Atlanta

We spent Mother’s Day weekend in Atlanta. It was a wonderful relaxing time, the best first Mother’s Day I could have asked for!

Swinging with Uncle JC!

Playing trucks with Charlie. Lola & Charlie are best buddies!

“Mom…will you stop taking so many pictures, we are trying to play!”

Lola & Uncle Nate, I thought it was cute that they matched!

Lola Update

We have been so busy, I think it has been weeks since I have had time to do a blog post. Things are going good and Lola is VERY active! Allergy meds are working and she is feeling better (sick babies are no fun)!

Cabinet locks work…here is Lola giving them a test run! Thanks Daddy!

I always tell people about Lola’s humming while she eats, so the other night we took a video. She does this the entire time she eats and gets louder as the day goes on!

2 Weekends ago I was able to go on a girls weekend trip. We have the best time, I have not laughed that much ever! Thanks to Kate for putting it all together, I can’t wait to do it again.

10 Months

I am a few days late with Lola’s 10 month post, it’s been a rough couple of days. Saturday night she had a serious allergic reaction to dairy, plus we are still dealing with her cough and cold. I took her back to the doctor today and we have started allergy meds, so hopefully she will be feeling better soon. Lola is a busy bee at 10 months, crawling so fast and pulling up on everything, she is never still! She has 4 teeth. Her absolute favorite thing to do is take her hair bow out and try and eat it, she loves it. She also loves being outside & going on a stroll, we have been enjoying this great Nashville weather!

Chewing on her crib, its nutritious right?

So we had a wonderful time at the beach last week, it was so relaxing. We ate so much yummy seafood, went on a date, and slept in (thanks to Andrew’s parents). It was a lil cool and very windy, so we didn’t get to spend too much time actually on the beach. Lola liked the beach, she was very curious about the sand. She never cried but it took her a while to get comfortable, by the end of the day she was laughing and smiling.

I love this picture! Lola is trying to eat the sand, you can actually see the sand on her lips.

We found a great park with a wonderful playground and Lola loved it. Here are a few pictures of her playing.
