This is for my Husband

Rolling with the Tide! Bama spanked my UGA Dawgs on Saturday night, it was pretty hard to watch. We went to Atlanta to watch the game with a bunch of UGA fans, Andrew defiantly had a better night than anyone else did.

3 Months

Lola is 3 months old and loads of fun. She is such a BIG girl, I have no idea what she weighs, but she is getting heavier everyday (trust me, my back and arms can feel it)! She is sitting up with the help of us and her bumpo seat. She still likes her bouncy seat, but is really into her play mat right now. She is starting to talk (make noise) and coo tons more, plus blowing bubbles and drooling all the time. She is gripping toys and trying to get them and her fist in her mouth. Here are her photos…

Here is a video of her blowing bubbles

All Smiles

Thanks to all of you for the encouragement last week, I made it through my first 2 days of work! I am really busy, so it went by fast, but I still missed her every second I was away. Lola did great, I am very lucky she has her Grams (Andrew’s Mom) to keep her while I work. We had a wonderful weekend, my Mom and Grandmother came in town for a quick visit. Lola is growing so fast and doing more each day. Right now she is cooing up a storm and trying to blow bubbles. Hopefully I can catch her doing it on camera soon.

She loves the bath, look at that belly!

Basket Case!

Yes, I am a basket case, though much better then I was last week. I start back to work tomorrow and it’s killing me. How could you leave that sweet lil face? I am just working 2 days a week and I am dreading being away from her every second of it. Any advice welcome from those of you who have been through this. I know she will be fine, it’s me I am worried about.

On to happier subjects, we had a great weekend. Something about the start of college football just makes you lazy and happy. Both household teams are 2 – 0 right now (Go Dawgs/Roll Tide) so things are starting off to a good season.
Lola has started trying to sit up, it’s all she wants to do, so we decided to try out the Bumbo seat. Here she is helping me prepare dinner.

We had baby dedication Sunday at church this weekend so I had to try and get a photo of all 3 of us with our eyes open, here is the result.

Beach Bum

We had a wonderful vacation at the beach last week. We went with my parents and my brother Jonathan. We timed it perfectly between the 2 hurricanes, the weather was so nice, we actually only had one day of rain. Lola was a great sport, just laid back and went with the flow. I am hoping she will love the beach as much as her mother does. We took her out to the beach in the mornings and late afternoons and she napped in a tent my parents bought for her. We spent the week relaxing, playing Mario Kart on the Wii, shopping and eating yummy seafood.
