Thanksgiving

We had a super Thanksgiving holiday, filled with family and food. We were in Nashville for Thanksgiving Day, and then headed to Atlanta on Friday for the weekend (after I woke up Friday morning at 4 am to go shopping). Lola enjoyed her first helping of sweet potatoes on Thanksgiving Day, we could not feed her fast enough.

Tom the Turkey

Lola & Grandpa Buff

Enjoying Cousin Caleb’s Sweet Tunes

Uncle JC (check out Lola's gut)

Fun Duds (overalls)

Sweet Cousin Beau

We have so much to be thankful for this year, God has so richly blessed our family. I am especially thankful for Wanda. Wanda was Andrew’s grandfather’s wife and she passed away last Friday. She was such a kind and caring person that had a special place in her heart for the disabled. I always loved the fact that Wanda was never afraid to get her hands dirty. She was always working around the house or on the farm. I am so happy she was able to spend a little time with Lola. She will be greatly missed.

love all your pics--
the elf thing is a book you buy called "the elf on the shelf." your elf "appears" with the book :) i know lola is too little now, but they have them at philip's toy mart, brentwood stationers, and several other places. you'll have to get one!
