Can you tell me how to get....

…to Sesame Street. Lola loves the Elmo, Big Bird & Cookie Monster characters I bought out of the dollar bin at Target. Love that place. She carries them all over the house with her, it’s so cute!

Learning to feed myself

First pair of Chuck Taylors

On Sunday we went to Centennial Park to feed the ducks. We were unsuccessful, but did happen upon the fall craft fair. Next, we headed to the dragon play ground near Vanderbilt, Lola loved it!

We started brushing Lola's teeth this week. She went with me to CVS and picked out her Elmo tooth brush & paste, she was so excited!

I had a baby shower for Leslie at my house this past weekend. It was so good to see everyone and I had so much fun with the girls.

Rain, Rain, Go Away...

Today we had an almost totally dry day! We spent most of the afternoon & evening outdoors and it was wonderful. We have been pretty cooped up the last week and needed some fresh air. Here are a few recent photos.

Ready for Church

Reading with Dada

Eating lunch with Lilly at the Zoo

Uncle JC feeding her Candy Corn

Chopsticks

First bite of sushi

Notice my Braves 'Starter' shirt

Sink Bath

Gameday

First Krispy Kreme Donut, loved it

First Braves Game

We took Lola to her first Braves game this weekend. It was a little wet outside, but that did not stop us from having fun! She was so quiet at first, just taking everything in, but that didn’t last long. She loved all the music, noise and cheering. Turner field has so many things for kids to do; it’s like an amusement park and baseball field all in one. Here are a few photos from the game. We winded up leaving after the 4th inning. There was a big rain delay, we waited around for 30-45 minutes and decided to call it a day. Thanks to Uncle JC for the tickets!

The Letter B...

B is for Banjo in the Bathtub! Monday we had Andrew’s family over for the holiday and Andrew’s cousin Caleb gave Lola a little banjo concert during her bath.

It was hilarious, I think Dan counted 9 people all stuffed in our tiny bathroom at once!

On Saturday we went to celebrate Abby’s birthday. We had a great time with family in town. Lola was a little unsure of the pony (horse) at the birthday.....

...but she did sit on the pony for a few seconds.

The bobbing for apples tub was a huge hit with Lola, she loved playing in the water and digging the apples out.

Playing in the water with cousins Reece, Abby & Kate!

What happened to all the apples???

Lola also loved playing with Abby's dollhouse. I think she stayed in the corner for most of the party and was totally entertained. I might see a dollhouse in her future!

Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation, minus tropical storm Claudette. We relaxed, rested, and had wonderful meals! Lola was great and so easy. She played on the beach every morning and would always take a nap. She loved the sand, ocean, and all the pelicans. She did so much better about not eating the sand this trip.

The tropical storm moved around the sand and made these little streams on the beach. Lola loved playing in them.

Andrew & Lola playing in the ocean. She loved the waves.

One night we went to dinner on the bay, the sunset was so pretty.

One day Uncle JC hooked us up with free passes to the local water park. We all loved it and they had a great kiddie area for Lola. Her favorite thing were these huge sprinkler fountains with steering wheels.

The Fair

On Friday we headed to the Williamson County Fair with some friends and it was a blast. Lola loved just looking at all the rides, games, lights, animals, etc. They have so many neat ‘free’ things for kids. There is a great Lil Ones Farming exhibit, pig/goat races, and a petting animal area. This is something we will defiantly have to try and do every year! We were out until 10:00 pm and she was great. There were even fireworks at the end and she didn't even flinch!

Lola loved petting the animals so much that she actually tried to climb in the cage with the animals. I have several photos like this.

Little Ones Farming

Digging in the corn & soy beans

Planting her seeds

Milking the cow

She was so tired on the way home

I think we might have a tomboy on our hands! Lola eating with her ball. She did not want to put it down to eat lunch.
